me and my town.

If, as they say, God spanked the town for being over frisky,
Why did He burn the churches down and save Hotaling’s whiskey?

This marble frieze is above Villa Taverna on Hotaling Place, Jackson Square.

I have a show tonight (yay!). I’m at the Mini Bar (837 Divisadero) for part of the Divisadero Art Walk. This print is one of the set I’ll be showing. I’m getting better at selecting prints, matting and framing. But it’s still a lot of work and it’s not easy. And installing—yeesh— let’s just say it’s not something that comes naturally to me. But these inconveniences are minor compared to the pleasure of meeting friends, old and new, who come out to see me and cheer me on.

If you’re nearby, come and say hello yourself:

Mini Bar
837 Divisadero St
(between Fulton St & Mcallister St)
San Francisco, CA 94117
(415) 525-3565

I’ll be there at 5pm.
